wrap-up:the morning star

so, this was a really strange book to be quite honest.
the book was mainly about the holocaust and its effects on one boy's life. his story was examined by a time traveler named linemarie, which is andre schwarz-bart's wife's maiden name. linemarie didn't show up much, and the story was mainly about haim lebke, a boy in wwii-era poland.

this book was originally published in french and translated, so that may have had something to do with it. but i think also it is very unique because of schwarz-bart's style. maybe i'll do a post on his history so that i can get a better idea of his writing style.
