so here we are, at blog post one hundred and ten. will i ever stop? maybe. important question!
but more importanter (that's not a word) are the stories. i just skimmed through both of them. mira's has a fantastic ending line that just made me smile like crazy, and then blender has an awesome opening because there is buttery sunlight and thanks for making my day, dear sir. and yeah.
to those who have beta'd for me, thanks a ton! your advice is totally valued, and really helpful. huge shoutout to brainbroth who gives herself way less credit than she deserves. more shoutouts to catandamouse, nameless, and blender for also beta-ing and helping me come up with fabu-tastic endings. additionally, for those of you who want another eye for your story, i'm open to it! a note in advance--i tend to take awhile on these 'cuz i mark up what i like and what i think can be changed. just make sure to give me a couple hours ahead of time to work my magic.
create.
a warm welcome to the blog. here is where you can follow my thoughts and musings on the craft of creating a world from words. through the muses and stories, i hope that you'll be able to learn a little more about me. feel free to leave comments on the blog telling me what to improve, or what you liked. happy reading!

abp#6: what insight, what wit...! why don't you say this normally. SOYMOO.
abp:
so. people are just Really Great sometimes over the interwebs. like they aren't afraid to open up and share their Nuggets of Wisdom with the world. i really recommend this person's blog because there is lots of incredible insight as well as just the general struggle of the artist determining exactly where to strike through with the truth, and where to cover up. also, this one is fun because the author just has hilarious things to say and it's awesome and Full of Win.lemme go blorp through the blogroll to see who else i stalk and if you are ever wondering what a story really means, go here because it's just up-to-date (mostly) and there's lots of wisdom there. also, POKEMANNNNNNN here and yeah. it's tons of fun. i think that's everyone who i stalk read on a super-regular basis. but in case you guys really wanted... just kidding, i'm lazy. go look at the blogroll and read some good posts. :)
also, since you have to verify your post on blogger, you have to type in a randomized letter code. i was doing this lately, and the code i got was "soymoo." just thought i'd share that with you guys.
EDIT:
one of mystalkers good good friends linked me to her blog. i thought it was interesting to read about her analysis of my writing--i think it's pretty accurate in what it says. you can see it here and read her wonder. :) also, her blog is just Things Made of Awesome and Wonder and Good. keep it up girl, i hope to see more from you. <3
edit2:
this post here is truly inspiring--one of the few inspiring posts that i have read. someone has said that i should be a motivational speaker, but i think the hidden words from this blogger should be used in a motivational speech from the person himself. keep it up, dude.

thoughts on "looking for something lost"
so maybe i should try and write the homework later so that i have more people to bounce it off of. the only people i've been able to bounce it off was the blenderlid. he thought that overall the story was good, only a few things that bothered him personally. they bothered me too, so i went through again a couple times to edit. but to me, it seems a little clunky still. maybe, eventually, i can get invisiblepinkink along with nameless to help and add their concrit.
i feel that this should be a kind of "making of" type thing.
the events that have unfolded recently have just left me a little dazed and just utterly broken. essentially, when you give someone a choice, you want them to make a certain one. when they don't, it hurts. but you can't really force that upon them, right? it's a choice. also, in this society, we all put up fronts. we are all hypocrites (in the sense that hypocrite was used in ancient greece, meaning an actor) as we only show the good parts of us. if someone asks "how are you" the default answer is always "good" or "fine." if you say anything but, people freak out. (some a little more than others... and with good reason. sometimes. it's not bad to care about people, is it?) and though we may think that no one else is going through the same thing, everyone is. everyone has their own labyrinth with their own monsters. the only differences are the extent of complexity and ghastliness of the labyrinth and the personal demons. so, in essence, this story is based off of the feeling when someone's gotten in so deep getting to know you, and then pulls out as quickly as they came in. a part of you is lost, and you go looking for that in other people. you put up a stronger front (that someone will eventually be able to break again) and keep on looking. you kind of blind yourself to the feelings of others, because you're searching for that one thing that's missing. and you can't really ever find it.
