carl stretched as he walked into the airport terminal. it sure was good to be home again--sometimes, vacations could be a bit draining. he yawned, grabbing his slightly heavy black bag from the baggage claim. walking outside, a warm burst of air greeted him--it was almost like santa barbara had taken the sun back just for him. he smiled slightly before walking to the sidewalk to wait for his ride. it wasn't until it started raining again that he remembered that nobody was here to pick him up.
