fading/vanishing characters.

so one thing i know that i'm good at is being super negligent and leaving characters out.
for example, i'll write in some semi-important character (who's just there for the ride) and then all of a sudden a couple paragraphs later the character will like drop off the face of the earth disappear for a long time without explanation. and then all of a sudden, the character will come back and be all like, "'sup guys, long time no see," and err'one else will be like, "wait, who are you?" yeah. my characters--they are crazy and have pretty much no short term memory at all. oops.

but the neglected characters are what i feel like during breaks. i kinda drop off the face of the earth and mind my own business. normally i'd try to stay in touch through msn, but that's even been lacking this year for reasons unknown. i haven't been e-mailing, i couldn't go to the christmas party because of work (gr.... sadface.), nobody's really invited me anywhere... le sigh. but the seclusion has done wonders for me? that's a good joke.
