hand-holding. a set of contrasts.

i find that most of the time, opposites attract.
this idea came to me while i was randomly thinking of handholding and how i have such small hands and how most likely whomever i marry will probably have larger hands than me. which is slightly embarrassing, but it's hands, so no big deal. anyway.

opposites bring out the most in each other. an extremely clean, hygienic person will either rub off on their extremely messy roommate or cause each other so much strife that they can hardly bear to look at each other's side of the room. this is the reason that authors sometimes have foil characters, to emphasize traits of their characters. and... i really like it.
